For over 16 years, I’ve had the joy of helping children find their voices, eat with confidence, and feel more connected to the people around them!
Most of my early career was spent at a children’s hospital, where I built my clinical expertise, supervised new therapists, and mentored graduate students. Then, in 2024, I took a leap of faith and started my own practice, beginning with home visits before opening our office in early 2025. At Cherry Picked Speech Therapy, I love having the time and freedom to truly ask, “What does THIS child need?” rather than trying to fit every child into the same box. I want my office to be a place where kids feel known, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
I also believe parents and caregivers are the experts on their children, so my role is to be your partner. I want to hear what’s happening at home, what your child is into right now, and what progress you’re noticing between sessions. I’ll be right there with you, celebrating every new word, brave attempt, and breakthrough along the way!
When I’m not working, I’m happiest surrounded by my people. My husband and daughter are my favorite travel companions, and my daughter and I are big Disney World fans. Give me a warm, sunny vacation, a boat, a pool, and enough sunscreen to cover a small village, and I’m a happy girl. I also love reading, crafting, and watching my daughter compete in field hockey, softball, and track.

Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) is a motor-based speech therapy approach for kids with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).
Our advanced training allows us to support the way your child’s brain plans and executes correct speech movements. We will work on words that are both meaningful and attainable for your child, using a structured hierarchy.

Did you know that there are two ways that children can learn language? Our speech therapists are trained to support your child’s unique language journey— whether they’re an analytic learner or a gestalt language processor (GLP).
Since GLPs use echolalia to communicate before they can make their own flexible sentences, our goal is to help them move through the stages of NLA— from using memorized chunks of language, to building their own original sentences word-by-word.
Our NLA-trained speech therapists will follow your child’s lead, build on their strengths, and focus on their individual language patterns rather than attempting to “correct” them.
